September 27, 2016

ANI-Myanmar project manager, Shawn David, initiated ANI-M’s expanded services by teaching a course in basic life support (BCLS) to forty nurses at Mandalar hospital.  The course was taught by the ANI-M faculty between ANI terms and utilized the ANI inflatable CPR training mannequins and AED trainers.  The content of the course was equivalent to the US-based Red Cross course and successful participants received a certificate.  Additional courses in advance life support and trauma care and critical care nursing are planned.
