Global Health Services Network attends the 2015 Doing Business in Algeria Roadshow Conference

Global Health Services Network’s Kate Rowley was pleased to recently participate in the US Commercial Service’sDoing Business in Algeria” roadshow conference, which brought a delegation of over 60 CEOs of major Algerian public and private companies from industries such as healthcare, agriculture & food, automotive, transportation, energy, infrastructure, and mining to the U.S.

The Doing Business in Algeria conference took place in Detroit, Michigan on December 1 – 2 and focused on cultivating business relationships between U.S. and Algerian companies, including a focus on the development of the Algerian healthcare sector. Support from both around Michigan and Algeria was strong. Some of the featured speakers were the US Ambassador to Algeria, Joan Polaschick, the Algerian Ambassador to the U.S., Madjid Bouguerra, the Minister of Industry and Mines of Algeria, Abdeslam Bouchouareb, President of the Forum des Chefs d’Entreprises from Algeria, Ali Haddad, leaders of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of Detroit, Mike Duggan, the Mayor of Dearborn, John O’Reilly, delegates from the US-Algerian Business Council, and delegates from Michigan Governor Snyder’s office.
